Key Responsibilities

The Senior Wet Utilities Engineer will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and implementation of wet utilities systems for large-scale infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• System Design and Analysis: Lead the development of detailed designs for water supply networks, wastewater collection systems, and stormwater management solutions, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
• Project Leadership: Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and construction activities adhere to Saudi Arabian regulations, environmental guidelines, and Parsons’ stringent quality assurance protocols.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government agencies, contractors, and clients to align project objectives with regulatory requirements and community needs.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks in wet utilities systems and propose innovative solutions to enhance resilience and sustainability.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, feasibility studies, and design specifications to support project execution and regulatory approvals.
• Innovation and Sustainability: Integrate cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices to optimize resource utilization and minimize environmental impact.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in wet utilities engineering, with a focus on water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems. Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects in the Middle East is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, EPANET, HEC-RAS, and GIS tools. Strong knowledge of hydraulic modeling and analysis is essential.
• Licensure: Valid professional engineering license (e.g., P.E., CEng) or eligibility for licensure in Saudi Arabia.
• Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, communicate complex technical concepts, and manage client relationships effectively.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
