About the Role

Nexttec Technology, a premier provider of innovative technology solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ERP Technical Consultant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems that drive operational efficiency and business growth. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering scalable, high-performance technical solutions while collaborating closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and optimal functionality.

Key Responsibilities

As an ERP Technical Consultant, your core responsibilities will encompass a wide range of technical and analytical tasks, including:

• System Design & Development: Architect, develop, customize, and maintain ERP applications and technical components to meet evolving business requirements, ensuring system stability, scalability, and performance.
• Technical Customization & Enhancements: Create and modify reports, interfaces, data conversions, extensions, and workflows to enhance ERP functionality and user experience.
• Integration Expertise: Design and implement robust integrations between ERP systems and third-party applications, leveraging APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and other integration frameworks to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Database Optimization: Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to enhance system performance, data integrity, and reporting capabilities.
• Technical Analysis & Solutioning: Analyze complex technical requirements and propose scalable, efficient solutions that align with business objectives while adhering to industry best practices.
• Implementation & Support: Lead ERP implementation, upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements, providing hands-on technical support to ensure successful deployment and post-go-live stability.
• Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and application errors to minimize downtime and maximize system reliability.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Prepare comprehensive technical design documents, deployment guides, and support documentation to facilitate smooth implementation and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaboration & Translation: Work closely with functional consultants to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring that ERP systems are tailored to meet organizational needs.
• Testing & Deployment Support: Participate in end-to-end testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities to validate system functionality and ensure a seamless transition to production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ERP technical consulting, ERP development, or a comparable technical role within enterprise-level environments.
• ERP Platform Proficiency: Extensive experience with leading ERP platforms, including but not limited to SAP, Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo, Infor, Sage, or equivalent systems.
• Technical Expertise: Strong SQL and database development skills, with the ability to design and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Development Frameworks: Experience with ERP customization and development frameworks, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Integration & API Knowledge: In-depth understanding of APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and system integration methodologies to facilitate seamless data exchange between ERP systems and external applications.
• Reporting Tools: Familiarity with reporting tools such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, Power BI, or similar platforms to generate actionable insights from ERP data.
• Cloud & Modern Technologies: Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Azure or AWS, is considered a significant advantage for this role.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic is preferred, though not mandatory, to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders in multilingual environments.
