Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic and meticulous Talent Acquisition Trainee to join our Human Resources team as part of the prestigious Tamheer Program. This entry-level role is tailored for individuals eager to gain practical experience in recruitment, employer branding, and candidate management while contributing to our organization’s strategic hiring initiatives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our talent acquisition efforts, ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.

Core Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Trainee will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities designed to build foundational expertise in HR and recruitment. Key duties include:

• Candidate Sourcing: Proactively identify and engage potential candidates through job boards, social media platforms, career fairs, and professional networking channels to attract top talent.
• Resume Screening and Shortlisting: Evaluate resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the job requirements, ensuring a streamlined selection process.
• Interview Coordination: Organize and facilitate interviews, assessments, and other evaluation methods, while maintaining clear and timely communication with candidates throughout the process.
• Talent Pipeline Development: Assist in cultivating and maintaining talent pipelines to address both immediate and future hiring needs, ensuring a robust talent pool for critical roles.
• Recruitment Materials Support: Contribute to the preparation of job postings, job descriptions, and other recruitment-related content to enhance employer branding and attract qualified candidates.
• Onboarding Assistance: Support the onboarding process by collecting necessary documentation, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires into the organization.

Qualifications and Eligibility

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Eligibility for the Tamheer Program, including registration and compliance with program guidelines (e.g., no prior employment in the last six months and not currently registered under GOSI).
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn and adapt to HR-specific software and systems.
• A genuine passion for human resources, recruitment, and talent development, coupled with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning.
