Operations Continuity & Emergency Planning and Assurance Senior Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Continuity & Emergency Planning and Assurance Senior Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the resilience and preparedness of our Specialized Aviation Rescue (SAR) infrastructure, systems, and equipment.

The primary responsibility is to proactively identify potential risks within our SAR infrastructure and develop mitigation strategies to ensure operational continuity. This involves:

• Active communication with internal teams to identify and analyze disruption scenarios
• Developing and recommending feasible mitigation strategies
• Designing comprehensive emergency exercise plans aligned with established standards
• Coordinating with internal teams to implement exercise plans and fostering a culture of readiness
• Monitoring and evaluating the execution of emergency exercises
• Conducting assessments and providing constructive feedback to enhance performance and preparedness

Additionally, you will:

• Analyze impact on, and risk to, essential business functions to identify acceptable recovery time periods and resource requirements
• Support the Section Head in researching and staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in the railway industry
• Propose innovative technical solutions for enhancing the effectiveness of emergency preparedness plans
• Contribute to the development and review of technical aspects of OCEP standards and protocols
• Analyze data from emergency exercises and incidents to identify resource allocation gaps or inefficiencies
• Develop recommendations for optimizing resource utilization based on data insights

We require a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Transport, Logistics, Management, or Railway Operations. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is essential, with specific experience in planning and a good knowledge of the Kingdom's railway industry, contractual matrix, and regulatory regime.
