The Golden Compass, an independent international Consulting, Drilling, and Services practice, is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team at our head office in Jeddah. With over 250 professionals across 3 continents, we provide focused advice and solutions to the earth resource industry, offering services from exploration to mine closure.

• Manage supplier invoices, vendor payments, and ensure accurate cost recording for drilling and consultancy operations in compliance with Saudi VAT regulations, ZATCA requirements, and company policies.
• Process and review supplier invoices related to drilling and mining operations.
• Verify invoices against Purchase Orders, delivery notes, and service reports.
• Prepare vendor payments and coordinate bank transfers.
• Perform supplier reconciliations and maintain accurate AP records.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Saudi National required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi VAT, ZATCA regulations, and e-invoicing (FATOORA).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Odoo or similar).
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
