Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. In this role, you will serve as the face of our brand, driving sales growth while delivering an exceptional shopping experience to every customer. Your responsibilities will encompass a blend of customer service excellence, operational efficiency, and brand representation, ensuring our store maintains its reputation for quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

The Sales Associate will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer satisfaction and increasing sales through proactive engagement and personalized service. Your duties will include:

• Greeting customers warmly and assisting them in selecting the most suitable products to meet their needs.
• Transforming browsing customers into committed buyers through persuasive yet consultative selling techniques.
• Promoting the company’s Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat business and foster long-term customer relationships.
• Adhering to the company’s GUEST selling framework—Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank—to ensure a structured and high-quality sales process.
• Staying informed about the diverse brands within our portfolio to provide informed recommendations and enhance the customer’s shopping experience.

Grooming, Attitude, and Product Knowledge

To uphold our brand’s image and standards, the ideal candidate must demonstrate:

• A polished and professional appearance at all times, reflecting the brand’s commitment to quality.
• Flexibility to accommodate extended working hours, particularly during peak sales periods and promotional events.
• Comprehensive product knowledge to minimize stock loss and ensure accurate inventory management.

Merchandising & Store Operations

The Sales Associate will contribute to maintaining an organized and visually appealing store environment by:

• Ensuring all merchandise is neatly displayed and arranged according to visual merchandising (VM) guidelines and standard layout norms.
• Monitoring stock levels and adhering to clearance and inventory norms to optimize product availability and customer appeal.
• Recording inventory movements accurately and maintaining detailed reports for operational transparency.

Point of Sale (POS) & Financial Responsibilities

Efficiency and accuracy in handling transactions are critical to this role. Responsibilities include:

• Operating the POS system and billing counter with precision to process customer transactions smoothly.
• Conducting cash till reconciliations at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure financial accuracy.
• Issuing receipts, processing refunds, and providing correct change to customers in a timely manner.
• Handling various payment methods, including cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits, with vigilance and professionalism.
• Maintaining strict adherence to security protocols and loss prevention policies to safeguard store assets and customer data.

Work Schedule & Compliance

Flexibility and adaptability are essential in this role. The Sales Associate must be prepared to:

• Work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to align with business demands.
• Extend working hours during peak sales periods, promotions, or special events as required.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and loss prevention policies to ensure operational integrity and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sales figures and sensitive business information.

Qualifications & Skills

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior retail experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Proficiency in basic computer systems and POS software is advantageous.
