Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring our organization meets its quality requirements. Your role will involve identifying and driving continuous improvement projects through data analysis, inspections, and testing. You will actively promote quality awareness within the organization by providing training and sharing best business practices.

• Prioritize quality performance improvement based on data analysis
• Investigate non-conformances, determine root causes, and drive corrective actions
• Create and analyze large datasets from multiple platforms to identify trends
• Support the Quality Manager with target setting and audits
• Perform in-process or product inspections and execute measures, tests, and sampling methods
• Maintain and update quality records required by the quality procedures
• Share your skills and knowledge about quality methodology and tools
• Coordinate preventive and corrective actions of Quality Improvement teams

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 4 to 5 years of experience in the Elevators & Escalators industry
• Quality Certificate ISO 9001 (recommended)
• Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Superb computer skills, including database management
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management
• Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, CQE, or CQA
• Excellent skills in computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
