About the Role

The Finance Manager at The House Hotel Jeddah King Road will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This position requires a strategic and detail-oriented professional who can drive financial performance while supporting operational excellence. The Finance Manager will be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses in alignment with corporate and ownership requirements. Additionally, the role involves managing cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, and treasury controls to maintain financial stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to support informed decision-making.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, and treasury controls to optimize financial performance.
• Implement and monitor robust internal controls, audit processes, and financial policies to safeguard the hotel’s assets.
• Collaborate closely with department heads to support cost control initiatives, budgeting, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee procurement processes, supplier contracts, and invoice approvals to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and corporate finance teams to facilitate smooth financial operations.
• Support pre-opening or seasonal ramp-up activities, including system setup and financial procedure implementation.
• Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to hotel management to enhance decision-making and drive profitability.

Experience & Skills

• 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong expertise in hotel accounting, financial reporting, and cost control methodologies.
• Proficiency in using Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS) systems, and accounting software.
• Demonstrated ability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with operational teams in a hands-on hotel environment.
• Prior experience in pre-opening or seasonal hotel environments is highly advantageous.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
