Key Responsibilities

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for a wide range of financial and operational activities, including:

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
  • Lead the end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with founders and business leaders to monitor performance, identify trends, and recommend strategic actions to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Drive monthly and quarterly business reviews, presenting key insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Reporting and Analytics:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive management reporting packs, KPI dashboards, and analytical tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Support board and investor reporting requirements, ensuring transparency and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Operations teams to enhance data availability, automate reporting processes, and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Design and implement scalable reporting infrastructure using advanced tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Controllership Support:
  • Work closely with Accounting and Finance Operations teams to ensure consistency between operational and financial reporting.
  • Provide guidance on financial controls, compliance, and process improvements to strengthen the integrity of financial data.

Skills & Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and capabilities:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Management.
• Minimum of four years of relevant professional experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in high-growth, fast-paced, or multinational environments.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including the ability to build sophisticated financial models and templates.
• Technical expertise in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or equivalent platforms.
• Proven track record of building reporting processes, dashboards, or finance functions from the ground up, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with founders, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience operating as an individual contributor in a dynamic environment, with the ability to work independently and deliver results without reliance on a large support team.
• A professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent is considered a strong advantage.
