Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to analyze revenues, costs, and funding requirements. Ensure accuracy and reliability in forecasting and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives.
• Revenue and Pricing Strategy: Support the development of revenue streams and pricing logic, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market dynamics. Contribute to the creation of business cases that justify investments and operational changes.
• Economic and Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth economic and financial analyses, including benchmarking, cost structure evaluations, and impact assessments. Provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize financial performance.
• Funding and Scenario Planning: Assist in defining funding requirements and phasing, incorporating scenario analysis to evaluate potential outcomes and mitigate risks. Present findings to stakeholders to guide resource allocation and strategic priorities.
• Strategic Financial Input: Provide critical financial inputs into the organization’s strategy, operating model, and business planning processes. Ensure financial considerations are integrated into long-term planning and operational execution.
• Data Validation and Consistency: Track and validate assumptions, data inputs, and methodologies across all financial workstreams. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and transparency in financial outputs.
• Finance Governance and System Design: Support the high-level design of finance governance frameworks, systems, and data requirements. Contribute to the development of data structures, reporting processes, and system needs to enhance financial efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, or MBA) is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.
• Proven track record in financial analysis, financial modeling, business planning, or corporate finance within complex organizations or large-scale development projects. Experience in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment is essential.
• Minimum of six years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, investment analysis, consulting, or economic analysis. Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights is critical.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar), ERP systems, and data visualization platforms. Familiarity with financial governance frameworks and regulatory compliance is a plus.
• Analytical and Communication Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings to stakeholders at all levels, from executives to operational teams.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration across departments to achieve common financial goals. Leadership qualities to drive initiatives and mentor junior team members are valued.
