Quality Inspector

Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team, ensuring the highest standards of product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance within our operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, finished goods, and warehouse operations to uphold our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities

The Quality Inspector will perform a wide range of duties to safeguard product integrity and compliance, including:

• Incoming and Outgoing Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, packaging components, and finished products to verify compliance with approved quality and food safety standards, including specifications, labeling, and packaging integrity.
• Warehouse Quality Assurance: Perform routine quality inspections within warehouse operations to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and regulatory requirements. Monitor storage conditions to preserve product quality and safety.
• Documentation and Traceability: Verify and maintain accurate records of inspections, including product traceability, to support compliance with regulatory and company standards. Ensure proper documentation of non-conforming materials or products for corrective action.
• Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and report deviations from quality standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve issues efficiently.
• Inventory Management: Ensure compliance with inventory practices, including First Expiry First Out (FEFO) and First In First Out (FIFO) stock rotation, to minimize waste and maintain product freshness.
• Audit Support: Assist in internal, external, and regulatory audits by providing comprehensive inspection records, documentation, and evidence of compliance with applicable quality and safety standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Warehouse, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to address quality-related concerns, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a culture of compliance and excellence.
• Regulatory and Company Compliance: Stay updated on evolving food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies to ensure ongoing compliance and mitigate risks.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in Quality Control, with a preference for candidates with a background in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
• Certifications: Food Safety Management Systems certification is highly desirable and demonstrates a commitment to industry best practices.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, quality inspection methodologies, food safety standards, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Arabic to facilitate clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to maintain accurate records while adhering to strict deadlines.
