My Clinic, a pioneering multispecialty outpatient care provider in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dedicated Radiology Registrar to join our team. As a Radiology Registrar, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries using medical imaging techniques. You will be responsible for interpreting medical images, performing diagnostic procedures, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to determine appropriate treatment plans for patients.
- Follow department and organizational policies and procedures.
- Evaluate patients’ medical histories and suggest alternative medical imaging techniques when necessary.
- Inform patients about medical imaging processes and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Define protocols for different imaging procedures and provide oversight of the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Analyze and interpret medical images to diagnose illnesses and injuries.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound scans and compile written reports of results and diagnoses.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
- Complete administrative tasks related to patient care and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Document critical findings and relay them to attending doctors and/or patients.
- Perform other professional duties as requested by the line manager.
We require a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Saudi fellowship or equivalent in radiology, and a license recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. Advanced medical and anatomical skills, knowledge of general surgery practices, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency in English are essential for this role.
