Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement high-impact strategies that align with Haleon’s global objectives while addressing the unique needs of the Saudi market. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans and initiatives.
• Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary technical authority within the organization, providing deep insights and solutions to complex challenges in product development, regulatory compliance, and market expansion. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain Haleon’s competitive edge.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Haleon’s Saudi Arabia operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and adherence to best practices. Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, distributors, and internal teams. Act as a liaison to facilitate collaboration and ensure alignment with Haleon’s corporate goals.
• Regulatory and Compliance Management: Ensure full compliance with local and international regulations governing the healthcare and consumer products industry. Lead efforts to secure necessary certifications and approvals for Haleon’s products in the Saudi market.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a combination of advanced education, extensive experience, and a proven track record in the healthcare or consumer goods industry. Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Pharmacy, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSc) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a leadership role within the healthcare or consumer products sector, with at least 5 years in a managerial or executive capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, operational management, and regulatory compliance, preferably within the Middle East or GCC region.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required; additional languages are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s healthcare landscape, including regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and consumer preferences.
