Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager - Finance, you will be entrusted with a broad spectrum of responsibilities that encompass both strategic and operational dimensions. Your core duties will include:

• Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with Qiddiya’s long-term objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. Lead the annual budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and performance benchmarking.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings in accordance with international accounting standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies and internal controls.
• Investment and Capital Management: Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, to enhance shareholder value. Manage capital allocation, debt structuring, and liquidity planning to support Qiddiya’s ambitious development initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the CFO and executive team, to provide data-driven insights and recommendations on financial performance, risk management, and strategic decision-making. Act as a trusted advisor to business units on financial implications of operational decisions.
• Risk Management and Controls: Identify financial risks and implement robust mitigation strategies to safeguard Qiddiya’s assets and reputation. Strengthen internal controls, audit processes, and fraud prevention mechanisms to ensure operational integrity.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Drive talent retention and succession planning to build a resilient finance function.
• Technology and Innovation: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge financial technologies (FinTech) and digital tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making. Optimize financial systems and processes to support scalability and agility in a rapidly evolving business environment.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA, MSc) or professional certification (CPA, CFA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within a large corporation, investment firm, or development project. Experience in the real estate, infrastructure, or entertainment sectors is advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Leadership and Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
