Position Overview

Al Tayer, a leading retail and luxury group in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager to oversee the operations of the prestigious Bloomingdale’s store in Riyadh. This high-profile role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in luxury retail management, exceptional customer service standards, and a passion for delivering outstanding shopping experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Store Operations Management: Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, brand standards, and operational procedures to maintain a seamless and luxurious shopping environment.
• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of retail associates, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer-centricity. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive team success.
• Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to maximize revenue, achieve sales targets, and enhance customer loyalty. Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Customer Experience Excellence: Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service by setting high standards for staff engagement, product knowledge, and personalized shopping experiences. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally to maintain brand integrity.
• Inventory & Merchandising: Collaborate with the merchandising team to optimize product placement, inventory levels, and visual merchandising to align with brand aesthetics and customer preferences. Monitor stock levels, manage replenishments, and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Financial Performance: Monitor and control store expenses, manage budgets, and analyze financial reports to ensure profitability and cost efficiency. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality or brand standards.
• Brand Representation: Act as the face of Bloomingdale’s in Riyadh, embodying the brand’s values, mission, and vision. Represent the company at industry events, community engagements, and corporate meetings to strengthen brand presence and reputation.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and security regulations, as well as company policies and legal requirements. Mitigate risks and address operational challenges proactively to maintain a safe and compliant retail environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or advanced certification in retail management is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive retail management experience, with at least 3 years in a luxury retail environment. Prior experience with high-end fashion or department stores is highly desirable.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team in a high-pressure retail setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster a collaborative and results-driven work culture.
• Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies that drive sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Customer-Centric Approach: A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and building long-term customer relationships. Ability to anticipate customer needs and exceed expectations consistently.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with retail management software, POS systems, inventory management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous.
