Marriott Hotels & Resorts in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our strategic growth initiatives and elevate our brand presence in the region. Key Responsibilities
The Director of Sales & Marketing will play a critical leadership role in shaping the future of our property by driving revenue growth and fostering long-term customer relationships. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies aligned with Marriott’s global standards and regional market demands to maximize occupancy, revenue per available room (RevPAR), and profitability.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ensure alignment with corporate objectives and regional business goals.
- Revenue Optimization: Oversee the sales pipeline, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and group bookings, while identifying new business opportunities to expand market share in Jeddah and beyond.
- Brand Positioning: Enhance brand visibility and reputation through targeted marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, and partnerships with local and international stakeholders. Leverage data analytics to refine strategies and measure performance.
- Customer Engagement: Drive guest satisfaction and loyalty by collaborating with operations to ensure seamless service delivery and personalized experiences that exceed expectations.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor budget performance, allocate resources effectively, and ensure cost-efficient execution of marketing and sales initiatives while maintaining profitability.

Qualifications & Experience
To excel in this role, you must possess a proven track record in sales and marketing leadership within the hospitality or luxury service industry. The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CHSE, CMP) are advantageous.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in revenue management, digital marketing, and strategic planning, with a strong understanding of market dynamics in the Middle East.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, utilizing tools such as CRM systems, market research, and performance analytics to drive results.
- Cultural awareness and fluency in English; additional language proficiency (e.g., Arabic) is highly desirable.
