The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Manager - Security to join the esteemed team at Jumeirah The Red Sea. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our guests and colleagues while upholding the highest standards of security excellence. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of duties designed to ensure a secure and seamless environment for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the activities of security officers and paramedics to guarantee the safety and security of colleagues, guests, and property at all times.
• Property Security Management: Implement robust security measures to protect all resort buildings and facilities, proactively identifying and mitigating potential threats or hazards.
• Training and Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to ensure all colleagues are fully informed of security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed daily incident reports, requisitions, and other essential documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Update and maintain SOPs in collaboration with the Director of Security, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all relevant personnel.
• External Collaboration: Liaise with external police agencies to facilitate the investigation and resolution of crimes, accidents, or incidents involving the resort, colleagues, and guests.

Your Profile

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of professional experience and personal attributes that align with our high standards of excellence. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A Higher Secondary education in a relevant field; a college degree is preferred, with a degree in Criminology considered advantageous.
• A valid Dubai Police Security License, which is mandatory or highly desirable for this position.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in Security, Police, or Military service, demonstrating a strong foundation in security operations.
• Proven track record in a customer-facing, service-oriented environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Hands-on experience in structured security operations and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
