Key Responsibilities

The Inventory Controller will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of inventory data and supporting seamless business operations. The primary duties include:

• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate records of stock levels, ensuring alignment with procurement and sales forecasts. Conduct regular audits to verify physical inventory against system records and address any discrepancies promptly.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in inventory workflows and recommend data-driven improvements to enhance accuracy, reduce waste, and streamline processes. Implement best practices to align with industry standards and company objectives.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate detailed inventory reports, including stock movement trends, turnover rates, and aging analysis. Provide actionable insights to management to support strategic decision-making and inventory planning.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with procurement, logistics, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless coordination. Facilitate communication to resolve supply chain challenges and support timely order fulfillment.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols. Maintain comprehensive documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
• Technology Utilization: Leverage inventory management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to track stock movements, generate forecasts, and optimize storage solutions. Stay updated on technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPIM or CSCP are advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or supply chain operations. Prior experience in a fast-paced, corporate environment is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Familiarity with barcode scanning and RFID technology is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Communication Skills: Proven ability to articulate findings, recommendations, and updates clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable.
• Organizational Abilities: Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving business needs in a dynamic environment.
