Key Responsibilities

• System Installation and Maintenance: Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, control systems, and equipment in accordance with industry standards and company protocols. Ensure all installations comply with local regulations and safety guidelines.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose electrical faults, perform repairs, and replace defective components to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify issues promptly.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential risks, reduce equipment failures, and extend the lifespan of electrical systems. Document all maintenance activities for compliance and audit purposes.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere strictly to electrical safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and emergency response plans. Ensure all work is performed in a manner that prioritizes the safety of personnel and property.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of electrical work, including schematics, work orders, and maintenance logs. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible for review by management and regulatory bodies.
• Collaboration and Training: Work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to support facility upgrades, expansions, or new installations. Provide guidance and training to junior technicians or apprentices as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Technology, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing, or corporate environment. Experience with high-voltage systems is advantageous.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, motor controls, transformers, and distribution panels. Familiarity with CAD software, electrical testing equipment, and industry-specific tools.
• Certifications: Valid electrical license or certification (e.g., Certified Electrical Technician) as required by local authorities. Additional certifications in safety or specialized electrical systems are highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
