Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers to procure high-quality goods and services in alignment with company needs and budget constraints. Conduct market research to identify cost-effective procurement opportunities and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
• Purchase Order Management: Prepare, review, and process purchase orders with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring all documentation complies with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Monitor order status and liaise with suppliers to resolve any delivery or quality issues promptly.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key suppliers. Evaluate supplier performance through regular audits, feedback sessions, and KPI tracking to ensure consistent delivery of value and quality.
• Contract Administration: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing procurement contracts, ensuring terms are clear, enforceable, and aligned with organizational objectives. Monitor contract compliance and renewal timelines to mitigate risks and avoid disruptions.
• Cost Control and Budget Adherence: Work closely with finance and operations teams to monitor procurement expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to approved budgets. Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities, expenditures, and variances for management review.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities comply with local and international regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential supply chain disruptions, quality issues, or vendor non-compliance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders across departments—such as finance, logistics, and operations—to align procurement strategies with broader business goals. Participate in project teams to support timely and cost-effective procurement of project-specific materials and services.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in procurement. Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and drive innovation within the procurement function.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of three years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management is essential. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems is highly desirable, along with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of procurement principles, contract law, and financial acumen. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred, and professional certifications such as CIPS or CSCP are advantageous.
