Key Responsibilities

The Regional QSHE Coordinator (Sales) will oversee a range of critical functions to maintain and enhance our QSHE performance. Your core responsibilities will include:

• QSHE Policy Implementation: Develop, review, and enforce QSHE policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with local and international regulations, ensuring full compliance across all sales regions.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards in sales operations, recommending and implementing corrective and preventive measures to minimize risks.
• Training and Awareness: Design and deliver QSHE training programs for sales teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of safety and accountability while ensuring all personnel are well-versed in QSHE protocols.
• Audit and Compliance: Lead internal and external QSHE audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and Almarai’s internal standards. Address audit findings promptly and effectively to maintain compliance.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate QSHE-related incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze QSHE performance metrics, reporting progress to senior management and recommending improvements to enhance overall safety and sustainability outcomes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, logistics, and operations, to integrate QSHE best practices into daily workflows and strategic initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by staying updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging QSHE technologies, ensuring Almarai remains at the forefront of safety and sustainability.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 45001, or ISO 14001 are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in QSHE coordination, preferably within the FMCG, food manufacturing, or sales sectors. Experience in a regional or multinational environment is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in QSHE management systems, risk assessment tools, and incident reporting software. Familiarity with local and international QSHE regulations and standards.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is required. Additional regional language skills are advantageous.
• Travel Requirements: This role involves frequent travel across multiple regions in Saudi Arabia to support sales operations and conduct on-site QSHE assessments.
