Your Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for a wide range of technical tasks, including:

• PLC Programming & Development: Design, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs using Siemens TIA Portal to ensure seamless automation and control of industrial processes.
• HMI/SCADA Development: Configure and develop Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems using Siemens WinCC and related visualization platforms to provide intuitive monitoring and control capabilities.
• System Integration & Commissioning: Integrate PLC systems with genset control modules from various manufacturers, perform system testing, and conduct on-site commissioning to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Control Logic Implementation: Develop and implement control logic for synchronization, load sharing, and load management applications, translating complex power system requirements into efficient automation solutions.
• Technical Documentation & Support: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, system backups, and configurations to ensure compliance with industry standards and facilitate future maintenance.
• Project Collaboration: Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and on-site commissioning activities, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within specifications.

Your Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and experience:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology, with a specialization in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming and industrial automation, with a proven track record in developing robust control systems.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Siemens PLCs, TIA Portal, and WinCC, along with experience in visualization and SCADA system development.
• Power Systems Knowledge: In-depth understanding of power systems, including synchronization, load sharing, and load management, with familiarity across multiple genset control systems from different Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
• Problem-Solving & Independence: Ability to work autonomously on complex automation systems, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and deliver solutions that meet technical and operational requirements.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support project sites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other global locations as required.
