Key Responsibilities

As an Asset Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in configuring, operating, and optimizing our Asset Management Systems (AMS), including CAFM and CMMS platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

• System Configuration and Operation: Implement and manage Asset Management Systems to ensure seamless integration with organizational workflows. This includes setting up and maintaining system parameters, user access controls, and system integrations to support asset tracking and maintenance operations.
• BIM Data Conversion: Lead the conversion of Building Information Modeling (BIM) data, specifically at Level of Development (LOD) 500, into structured and actionable asset registers. This process is essential for aligning digital models with real-world asset data, enabling accurate asset tracking, lifecycle management, and maintenance planning.
• Asset Hierarchy Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive asset hierarchies to ensure clarity in asset relationships and dependencies. This includes organizing assets into logical categories, defining parent-child relationships, and ensuring data consistency across systems.
• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Scheduling: Design, implement, and oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules to proactively address asset maintenance needs. This role involves collaborating with maintenance teams to ensure timely interventions, reducing unplanned downtime, and extending asset lifespans.
• Performance Reporting and Analysis: Generate periodic operational and asset performance reports to provide stakeholders with actionable insights. These reports will support data-driven decision-making, highlight trends, and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and experience:

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in managing Asset Management Systems, including CAFM and CMMS platforms. Prior exposure to AMS implementations and system integrations is highly desirable.
• BIM Expertise: Proven track record in converting BIM data, particularly at LOD 500, into structured asset registers. Your ability to interpret and transform complex BIM models into practical asset management data is critical to this role.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in data structuring, system configuration, and database management. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in asset management is essential.
• Analytical and Reporting Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze asset performance data and generate insightful reports. Your proficiency in data visualization tools and reporting platforms will be a key asset in this position.
• Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, maintenance, and facility management personnel.
