Your Impact: A Day in the Life

As a General Accountant, your responsibilities will span a wide range of critical financial functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in every transaction. Your daily tasks will include:

• Processing Invoices and Payments: Review, verify, and process supplier invoices and employee reimbursements with precision, ensuring timely and accurate payments that support our operational needs.
• Reconciling Vendor Accounts: Monitor and reconcile vendor statements, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve outstanding items, maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Ensuring Timely Payments: Schedule and execute vendor payments in accordance with agreed terms, optimizing cash flow while adhering to financial policies and audit requirements.
• Maintaining Accurate Records: Update and manage accounts payable systems and records, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and audit protocols.
• Supporting Month-End Close: Assist in preparing accruals and tracking invoices to facilitate a smooth and accurate financial close process, contributing to the integrity of our financial reporting.
• Responding to Inquiries: Address vendor and internal inquiries with professionalism and urgency, providing clear and concise resolutions to support operational continuity.
• Assisting with Audits and Compliance: Prepare and organize documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial processes align with regulatory requirements and Hilton’s high standards of integrity.
