Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Junior Front-End Developer at PULSE (MENA), you will play a pivotal role in crafting modern, responsive, and accessible websites for our diverse range of healthcare, medical, and wellness clients. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of front-end development tasks, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

Front-End Development

• Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and user-friendly websites that align with the unique needs of healthcare, medical, and wellness brands.
• Transform UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and reusable front-end code, ensuring seamless integration with back-end systems.
• Build high-performing landing pages, websites, and digital marketing assets that support campaign objectives and adhere to brand guidelines.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with designers, digital marketers, and project managers to deliver cohesive and impactful web experiences.
• Support SEO initiatives, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and performance-driven improvements to enhance website effectiveness.
• Participate in project discussions, offering insights to elevate user experience and functionality while aligning with business goals.

Performance and Optimization

• Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility to ensure a seamless experience across all devices.
• Implement modern web development best practices, including accessibility and usability standards, to create inclusive digital solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing across multiple browsers and devices to identify and resolve front-end bugs, layout inconsistencies, and UI issues.

CMS and Website Management

• Assist in maintaining and updating WordPress websites and other CMS platforms to ensure content accuracy and design consistency.
• Implement new pages, templates, content updates, and design enhancements in alignment with project requirements.

Continuous Learning and Growth

• Stay abreast of emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices to enhance your skill set.
• Engage in code reviews and actively learn from senior developers to refine your coding standards and development workflows.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 0–2 years of front-end development experience, gained through internships, freelance projects, personal initiatives, or entry-level professional roles.
• Experience building or contributing to live websites or web applications is highly advantageous.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with a focus on writing semantic and maintainable code.
• Solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first development principles to ensure optimal user experiences across devices.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar is considered a plus.
• Experience working with WordPress or other CMS platforms is preferred.
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices for front-end development to support organic growth strategies.

Tools and Technologies

• Experience using Git or other version control systems to manage code repositories and collaborate with teams.
• Familiarity with design collaboration tools such as Figma or Adobe XD to interpret and implement design specifications.
• Basic knowledge of website performance optimization techniques and cross-browser testing methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and work efficiently in a remote environment.

• Experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap to streamline development processes.

• Exposure to the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries, with an appreciation for compliance and best practices.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript tooling and build processes to enhance development efficiency.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage for collaboration with regional teams.
