Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Junior Front-End Developer at PULSE (MENA), you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining high-quality, accessible, and user-centric websites tailored for our healthcare, medical, and wellness clients. Your responsibilities will include transforming UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and reusable front-end code, as well as building landing pages, websites, and digital marketing assets that align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, digital marketers, and project managers, to deliver seamless web experiences that drive engagement and conversion.

Your contributions will extend to optimizing websites for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility, ensuring a flawless experience across all devices. You will assist in maintaining and updating WordPress websites and other CMS platforms, implementing new pages, templates, content updates, and design enhancements. Additionally, you will conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve front-end bugs, layout inconsistencies, and UI issues, while supporting ongoing website maintenance and improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Front-End Development: Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and user-friendly websites for healthcare, medical, and wellness clients. Transform UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and reusable front-end code, including landing pages, websites, and digital marketing assets.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, digital marketers, and project managers to deliver high-quality web experiences. Support SEO, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and performance-driven website improvements. Participate in project discussions and contribute ideas to enhance user experience and functionality.
• Performance & Optimization: Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility. Ensure seamless experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Adhere to accessibility, usability, and modern web development best practices.
• CMS & Website Management: Assist with maintaining and updating WordPress websites and other CMS platforms. Implement new pages, templates, content updates, and design enhancements.
• Quality Assurance: Test websites across multiple browsers and devices to ensure consistent functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs, layout issues, and UI inconsistencies. Support ongoing website maintenance and improvements.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices. Participate in code reviews and actively learn from senior developers. Continuously improve coding standards and development workflows.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess a blend of technical proficiency, creativity, and a strong problem-solving mindset. We are looking for candidates with 0–2 years of front-end development experience, which may include internships, freelance work, personal projects, or entry-level professional roles. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience—is required. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is essential, along with a solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first development principles.

While familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Experience working with WordPress or other CMS platforms is preferred, as is a basic understanding of SEO best practices for front-end development. You should be comfortable using Git or other version control systems and have familiarity with design collaboration tools like Figma or Adobe XD. A basic knowledge of website performance optimization and cross-browser testing is also beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript tooling and build processes.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.
