Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will be entrusted with a range of critical financial duties, including:

• Payment Review and Compliance: Thoroughly review invoices, contracts, and supporting documentation to validate payment accuracy, compliance with financial policies, and alignment with contractual obligations. Ensure all transactions adhere to approved financial controls and regulatory requirements.
• Transaction Processing and Verification: Prepare and review payment orders with unwavering attention to detail, verifying financial data accuracy before approval. Process supplier and vendor payments promptly while monitoring due dates to avoid delays and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Financial Recording and Reconciliation: Accurately record all payment transactions in the financial system, ensuring correct accounting entries and proper classification of operating and capital expenditures. Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts payable, monitor open balances, and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Liquidity and Treasury Coordination: Work closely with the treasury function to ensure sufficient liquidity is available before executing scheduled payments. Monitor advance payments and pending settlements to facilitate timely reconciliation and closure of financial obligations.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive periodic reports on payment activities, including overdue payment analysis and actionable recommendations to improve efficiency. Communicate effectively with vendors to address payment inquiries, discrepancies, and outstanding claims in a professional and timely manner.
• Month-End and Year-End Support: Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing payment schedules, conducting reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with internal financial controls. Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline and automate accounts payable processes to enhance data quality and reduce operational risks.
• Process Improvement and Compliance: Actively participate in initiatives to enhance payment processes, strengthen internal controls, and ensure adherence to best practices in financial management. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that drive operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
