Facility Engineer – Jeddah

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Engineer to join our dynamic team in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience in the construction and management of public infrastructure, including but not limited to public buildings, parks, stadiums, monuments, and other large-scale facilities. This role demands a professional who can oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is a critical requirement for this position. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with architects, contractors, and stakeholders, while also ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential to thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and government authorities to facilitate seamless project delivery and resolve any arising challenges.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify that construction activities meet industry benchmarks, contractual obligations, and client expectations.
• Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project expenditures, allocate resources efficiently, and implement cost-control measures to optimize financial performance.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, ensuring the use of advanced methodologies and best practices in facility engineering.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, progress reports, and compliance documentation for internal and regulatory review.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in the construction and management of public infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Professional certifications in project management or facility engineering are advantageous.
• Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
