About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Supervisor to join the pre-opening team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Engineering team through the critical final stages of construction, testing, commissioning, and operational setup. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all systems and equipment meet Four Seasons’ rigorous standards for quality, efficiency, and safety, while supporting both project readiness and the transition into seamless daily maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Oversight and Compliance: Collaborate with the Engineering leadership team to review technical specifications, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) installations, and testing procedures, ensuring full compliance with Four Seasons’ operational standards and industry best practices.
• Inspections and Commissioning: Actively participate in inspections, snagging activities, commissioning processes, and system testing alongside contractors and consultants to verify operational readiness and adherence to quality benchmarks.
• Handover Management: Supervise the handover of equipment, comprehensive technical documentation, warranties, and asset tagging to ensure a smooth and accurate transition into operational maintenance.
• CMMS Implementation: Oversee the setup and data entry of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Hotsos), including asset registration, preventive maintenance scheduling, and task generation to streamline maintenance operations.
• Contractor Coordination: Work closely with contractors and project teams to address defects, complete punch lists, and ensure timely system handovers, maintaining alignment with project timelines and quality expectations.
• Workshop and Inventory Management: Assist in establishing engineering workshops and storerooms, organizing tools, spare parts, and implementing energy monitoring systems to optimize operational efficiency.
• Team Training and Development: Organize and supervise technical training sessions for the engineering team, focusing on newly installed systems such as HVAC, Building Management Systems (BMS), generators, elevators, and fire life safety equipment to ensure operational competency.
• Maintenance of Standards: Uphold Four Seasons’ commitment to excellence by ensuring all engineering operations adhere to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess a degree in Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in engineering supervision, preferably within the hospitality or luxury resort industry. Strong leadership skills, technical expertise in MEP systems, and a proven ability to manage complex projects are essential. Familiarity with CMMS platforms, such as Hotsos, and a commitment to continuous improvement will be highly advantageous. Additionally, excellent communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills are critical to success in this position.
