About the Location: AMAALA

AMAALA, nestled along Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast, is a pristine destination renowned for its diverse natural landscapes. Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay will redefine wellness tourism with 220 keys, including rooms, suites, and private pool villas, alongside 26 branded residential villas, all designed to offer stunning views of the bay and sea. The resort will feature a luxury spa set within a tranquil garden, inspired by sculpted waterfalls and lush greenery. The Organic Spa Garden will serve as a sanctuary for holistic well-being, offering advanced therapies such as halotherapy, cryotherapy, and cutting-edge skin treatments.

For fitness enthusiasts, the property will collaborate with renowned trainer Harley Pasternak to blend high-performance training with the natural beauty of Triple Bay’s 300 hectares (741 acres) of untouched hills, wadis, and beaches. Guests and residents can explore rugged cliffs, valleys, and trails perfect for canyoning, mountain biking, and equestrian activities, or refine their skills at the stunning 27-hole oceanfront golf course.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Supervisor to join the pre-opening team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the engineering team through the critical phases of construction completion, testing, commissioning, operational setup, and the seamless transition into daily maintenance activities. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring all systems and equipment adhere to Four Seasons’ rigorous standards of quality, efficiency, and safety, thereby supporting both project readiness and long-term operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Oversight: Collaborate with the engineering leadership team to review technical specifications, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) installations, and testing procedures, ensuring full compliance with operational standards and Four Seasons’ luxury benchmarks.
• Project Coordination: Actively participate in inspections, snagging, commissioning, and system testing processes in partnership with contractors and consultants to validate performance and readiness.
• Handover Management: Supervise the handover of equipment, technical documentation, warranties, and asset tagging to ensure a seamless and accurate transition into operational maintenance.
• System Implementation: Oversee the setup and data entry of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Hotsos), including asset registration, preventive maintenance scheduling, and task generation to streamline operational workflows.
• Contractor Collaboration: Coordinate closely with contractors and project teams to address defects promptly, complete punch lists, and facilitate successful system handovers within defined timelines.
• Workshop and Inventory Management: Assist in establishing engineering workshops and storerooms, organizing tools, spare parts, and implementing energy monitoring systems to optimize resource utilization and operational efficiency.
• Team Development: Organize and supervise technical training sessions for the engineering team, focusing on newly installed systems such as HVAC, BMS (Building Management Systems), generators, elevators, and fire life safety equipment to ensure proficiency and compliance.
• Maintenance of Standards: Maintain and uphold Four Seasons’ high standards of safety, quality, and guest satisfaction through meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess a degree in Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in engineering supervision, preferably within the hospitality or luxury real estate sector. Proficiency in MEP systems, commissioning processes, and CMMS platforms is essential, as is a strong track record of leading teams through pre-opening phases. Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are critical, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
