Warehouse Operator

Position Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials within our warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities

The Warehouse Operator will perform a variety of critical tasks to support warehouse operations, including:

• Receiving and Inspection: Accurately receive incoming materials by verifying shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents, ensuring all items meet quality and quantity standards.
• Inventory Storage and Organization: Store materials in designated locations in accordance with warehouse layout and storage standards, maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
• Order Picking and Issuance: Retrieve, pack, and issue materials in alignment with approved requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to meet operational demands.
• Inventory Management: Perform inventory transactions in the ERP/WMS system, maintaining precise stock records and conducting routine cycle counts to support periodic physical inventory activities.
• Stock Monitoring and Reporting: Proactively monitor stock levels, identify shortages, damages, or discrepancies, and promptly report findings to the supervisor to mitigate operational disruptions.
• Traceability and Compliance: Ensure proper labeling, identification, and traceability of all inventory items, adhering to company and regulatory standards for documentation and record-keeping.
• Material Handling: Safely load and unload deliveries using appropriate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, where authorized, to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
• Workplace Safety and 5S Compliance: Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with 5S standards, and strictly adhere to company safety policies and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certification or diploma in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management is considered advantageous.
• Experience: A minimum of 0-4 years of hands-on experience in warehouse, stores, or inventory operations is preferred, with a proven ability to handle fast-paced environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is beneficial, along with basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Certifications: Forklift certification, where applicable, is a valuable asset for this position.
