Your Responsibilities

As a Junior Data Operations Analyst, you will immerse yourself in the technical mechanics of how data moves through an organization. Your role will involve diagnosing where data integrity breaks down and identifying the root causes of process bottlenecks. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who thrive on investigative work and are eager to understand the operational infrastructure of a business. Since this is a fully remote role, you will be responsible for managing your own schedule while maintaining alignment with project objectives. Key Tasks and Objectives

• Log Analysis: Scrutinize system logs to pinpoint the exact moment a routing rule or integration fails, enabling precise troubleshooting.
• Data Reconciliation: Review daily reconciliations to verify that financial and operational data remains consistent across all platforms.
• Error Identification: Detect inaccuracies in data entries and trace them back to their origin to prevent future discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
• Documentation and Process Improvement: Update and refine documentation and standard operating procedures as we rebuild reporting pipelines to enhance clarity and efficiency.
• Data Cleanup: Assist in resolving data backlogs to facilitate a smooth transition for the client toward more efficient workflows.
• Rule Testing: Validate new routing rules to ensure files and approvals are directed to the appropriate stakeholders without delays or errors.
• Live Monitoring: Oversee live operations during the initial month of a new system implementation to identify and resolve minor issues proactively.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate findings clearly to the team, enabling prioritization of critical fixes and fostering a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

Your Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess a logical mindset capable of analyzing error logs to identify recurring patterns. Proficiency in spreadsheets is essential, including the ability to sort, filter, and organize large datasets efficiently. Strong writing skills are required to articulate complex technical issues in a clear, concise manner. Attention to detail is paramount, as is the perseverance to verify work meticulously.
