We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Operations to spearhead the execution of large-scale construction projects across Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role demands a seasoned leader with a proven track record in managing complex, high-value projects while ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and adherence to the highest safety and quality standards. As the driving force behind our operational strategy, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of mega projects, from high-rise buildings and mixed-use developments to airports, stadiums, and large-scale master developments, shaping the skyline of Saudi Arabia’s future.

Key Responsibilities

The Head of Operations will play a critical role in the following areas:

• Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to a team of Project Directors, Construction Managers, and multidisciplinary professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
• Project Delivery & Excellence: Ensure the successful delivery of multiple mega projects by overseeing all phases of construction, from planning and execution to completion, while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.
• Resource & Commercial Management: Optimize resource allocation, monitor commercial performance, and implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate challenges and maximize profitability across all projects.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, government authorities, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and long-term client satisfaction.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with FIDIC contracts, Saudi regulations, and local authority requirements, mitigating legal and operational risks while upholding the company’s reputation for integrity and excellence.
• Performance Monitoring: Implement performance tracking systems to evaluate project progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement in operational efficiency and project outcomes.

Requirements & Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education & Certification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is essential. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
• Extensive Experience: A minimum of 20–25 years of progressive experience in the construction industry, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role managing multiple mega projects simultaneously.
• Project Portfolio: Demonstrated expertise in delivering large-scale projects, including high-rise buildings, mixed-use developments, airports, stadiums, hospitality, healthcare facilities, villas, or master-planned communities, with project values ranging from SAR 1 billion to several billion.
• Regional Expertise: Prior experience working in Saudi Arabia or the broader GCC region is highly preferred, with a deep understanding of local regulations, market dynamics, and cultural considerations.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, Saudi construction laws, and local authority requirements, ensuring all projects are executed in full compliance with legal and industry standards.
