Hard Services Lead

The Hard Services Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing all hard services operations, ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and Fire & Life Safety (FLS) systems. This role requires a strong mechanical background and comprehensive knowledge of MEP systems, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, operations, or maintenance.

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in facilities management, operations, or maintenance.
• Strong mechanical background with comprehensive knowledge of MEP systems.
• Experience in managing Fire & Life Safety (FLS) systems and associated subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of health, safety, and statutory compliance requirements.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all hard services operations, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of MEP and FLS systems.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
• Plan, monitor, and verify preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance activities.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical issues while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.
• Coordinate shutdowns, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities with stakeholders.
• Review maintenance reports, technical documentation, and contractor performance.
• Support asset reliability initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure all works are performed in accordance with applicable codes, manufacturer recommendations, and client requirements.
• Manage resource allocation, work planning, and performance of the hard services team.
• Provide technical guidance and support during emergencies and critical system failures.

• Required Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Fire & Life Safety systems.
• Proven experience in subcontractor management.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in CAFM/CMMS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
