Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Commercial Project Manager will play a critical role in the following areas:

• Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end commercial management of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
• Contract Management: Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to mitigate risks and maximize profitability.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor project financials, including cost control, revenue recognition, and cash flow management, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks to safeguard project profitability and reputation.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain operational integrity.
• Team Development: Mentor and lead a high-performing team of commercial professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in commercial project management, preferably within the construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project), ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and reporting.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
