Key Responsibilities

As a Bartender at Rosewood Hotel Group, your core responsibilities will include:

• Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, and premium spirits, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
• Guest Engagement: Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, anticipating their needs, and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, monitor inventory, and place orders as needed to ensure the bar is fully stocked with high-quality ingredients and supplies.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing regulations, including proper handling of alcohol, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring compliance with local laws and hotel policies.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as food and beverage, housekeeping, and front office, to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive guest experience.
• Upselling and Revenue Generation: Promote high-margin beverages and special promotions to drive sales and contribute to the financial success of the bar and hotel.
• Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on industry trends, new beverage techniques, and service standards to continuously elevate the guest experience.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a high-volume or luxury hospitality setting, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of cocktail recipes, beverage trends, and mixology techniques, along with a strong understanding of liquor and wine pairings.
• Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Physical Stamina: The ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Certifications: Valid certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TAM, ServSafe, or equivalent) and a commitment to upholding legal and ethical standards in beverage service.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; additional language proficiency, particularly in Arabic, is highly desirable.
