Manager - Finance (MAS369)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager - Finance (MAS369) to join Qiddiya Investment Company, a dynamic and forward-thinking organization based in Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role will play a critical part in shaping the financial strategies of one of the Kingdom’s most ambitious and innovative investment initiatives. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, drive financial planning and analysis, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while contributing to the long-term growth and sustainability of Qiddiya Investment Company.

Key Responsibilities

The Manager - Finance will be responsible for a wide range of financial functions, including but not limited to:

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and implement robust financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements. Ensure transparency and accountability in all financial disclosures.
• Treasury & Cash Management: Oversee liquidity management, optimize cash flow, and manage banking relationships to ensure the company maintains sufficient liquidity for operations and growth initiatives. Implement best practices in treasury operations to mitigate financial risks.
• Investment Management: Evaluate and manage investment portfolios, including equity, debt, and alternative investments, to maximize returns while aligning with the company’s risk appetite and strategic objectives. Collaborate with investment teams to assess new opportunities and monitor existing assets.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements. Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks. Work closely with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, board members, and external stakeholders on financial matters. Present financial performance, strategic recommendations, and investment proposals in a clear and compelling manner to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Delegate responsibilities effectively and ensure the team delivers timely and accurate financial insights.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. A professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or investment management, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Prior experience in the real estate, infrastructure, or investment sectors is a strong advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial software is essential.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive financial discipline across the organization. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
