Business Analyst - ServiceNow GRC & SPM

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst specializing in ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that our ServiceNow GRC and SPM solutions are effectively implemented, optimized, and aligned with organizational objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving process improvements, enhancing risk management frameworks, and supporting strategic decision-making across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and end-users to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for ServiceNow GRC and SPM implementations. Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Solution Design & Configuration: Work closely with ServiceNow developers and administrators to design, configure, and customize GRC and SPM modules, including risk assessments, policy management, audit workflows, and portfolio planning tools. Ensure solutions adhere to best practices and industry standards.
• Process Improvement & Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in existing GRC and SPM processes and propose data-driven solutions to enhance operational effectiveness, reduce risk exposure, and improve compliance outcomes. Lead change management initiatives to drive adoption of new processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution. Present findings, progress updates, and recommendations to leadership in a clear and concise manner.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of ServiceNow GRC and SPM solutions. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and compliance with organizational policies.
• Training & Support: Provide end-user training and support to ensure proficient use of ServiceNow GRC and SPM tools. Develop user guides, documentation, and knowledge base articles to foster self-service capabilities.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Assist in the development and maintenance of risk management frameworks, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring. Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in GRC and SPM. Recommend enhancements to existing solutions to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or ServiceNow certifications) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years focused on ServiceNow GRC and/or SPM implementations. Prior experience in risk management, audit, or compliance domains is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow GRC and SPM modules, including risk management, policy and compliance, audit management, and portfolio planning. Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, or other governance frameworks is beneficial.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail. Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and propose actionable insights.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaborative relationships across departments.
• Project Management: Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is advantageous.
