Construction Execution Engineer

Position Overview

In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in overseeing and executing construction projects with precision, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution Oversight: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on engineering principles, construction methodologies, and steel fabrication techniques to ensure optimal project outcomes.
• Quality Assurance & Control: Implement and monitor rigorous quality control measures to guarantee that all construction activities and deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Safety & Compliance: Champion a culture of safety by enforcing strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, as well as local and international construction regulations.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate seamless communication, resolve challenges, and ensure project objectives are met.
• Resource Management: Optimize the allocation of labor, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize waste throughout the construction process.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, deviations, and resolutions, and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.
• Problem-Solving & Innovation: Identify potential risks and proactively develop solutions to mitigate delays, cost overruns, or quality issues, leveraging your technical acumen and industry experience.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are advantageous.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction execution, with a focus on steel construction or heavy fabrication projects.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM), project management tools, and industry-specific standards.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical & Organizational Skills: Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and a keen eye for detail to manage complex projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Safety & Regulatory Awareness: A thorough understanding of HSE protocols, construction codes, and compliance requirements in the Middle East or similar markets.
