System Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced System Developer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

As a System Developer, your core responsibilities will include:

• Software Design and Development: Architect, develop, and implement enterprise-level software applications using industry best practices to meet business requirements.
• Code Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards and follows scalable architectural principles.
• API and Third-Party Integration: Integrate internal and external APIs, as well as third-party services, to enhance system functionality and interoperability.
• System Testing and Debugging: Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and system testing, to identify and resolve defects. Perform debugging to ensure optimal system performance.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance speed, efficiency, and scalability.
• Code Reviews: Participate in peer code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, identify potential issues, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture, API specifications, and deployment procedures, to support ongoing development and maintenance efforts.
• Deployment and Production Support: Collaborate with deployment teams to ensure smooth system rollouts and provide timely resolution for production issues to minimize downtime.

Required Skills and Competencies

To excel in this role, you must possess the following technical and professional competencies:

• Programming Proficiency: Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and hands-on experience with programming languages such as .NET, Java, or PHP.
• Database Management: In-depth knowledge of SQL databases, including design, querying, and optimization techniques.
• API Development: Experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless system integration.
• Version Control: Proficient use of Git for source code management, including branching, merging, and collaborative development workflows.
• Software Design Patterns: Familiarity with design patterns and architectural principles to build scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Debugging and Testing: Strong debugging skills and experience with testing methodologies to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level applications.
• Availability: Must be available to work onsite and contribute to the team’s collaborative environment.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic is preferred, though not mandatory, and English proficiency is required for effective communication in a global team setting.
