Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Junior Front-End Developer at PULSE (MENA), you will play a pivotal role in crafting modern, responsive, and accessible web experiences for our diverse portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Front-End Development: Developing and maintaining user-friendly, responsive websites for healthcare, medical, and wellness brands. You will translate UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and reusable front-end code, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
• Collaboration: Working closely with designers, digital marketers, and project managers to deliver exceptional web experiences. You will contribute to SEO initiatives, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and performance-driven improvements while participating in project discussions to enhance user experience and functionality.
• Performance & Optimization: Optimizing websites for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility. You will ensure seamless experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices while adhering to accessibility, usability, and modern web development best practices.
• CMS & Website Management: Assisting with the maintenance and updates of WordPress websites and other CMS platforms. This includes implementing new pages, templates, content updates, and design enhancements to meet evolving client needs.
• Quality Assurance: Testing websites across multiple browsers and devices to ensure consistent functionality. You will troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs, layout issues, and UI inconsistencies while supporting ongoing website maintenance and improvements.
• Continuous Learning: Staying current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices. You will participate in code reviews, learn from senior developers, and continuously improve coding standards and development workflows.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Front-End Developer with a passion for building impactful digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience: 0–2 years of front-end development experience, including internships, freelance work, personal projects, or entry-level professional roles. Experience building or contributing to live websites or web applications is a strong advantage.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • A solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first development principles.
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar is a plus.
  • Experience working with WordPress or other CMS platforms is preferred.
  • A basic understanding of SEO best practices for front-end development.
• Tools & Technologies:
  • Experience using Git or other version control systems.
  • Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design collaboration tools.
  • Basic knowledge of website performance optimization and cross-browser testing.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Eagerness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously improve.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or similar CSS frameworks.
  • Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Exposure to healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript tooling and build processes.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.
