Business Analysis Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analysis Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will act as the critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that organizational objectives are met through effective requirement gathering, analysis, and solution delivery. Your expertise will drive process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and support the successful implementation of technology solutions that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Elicitation and Documentation: Conduct comprehensive stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed business requirements. Develop and maintain high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and process documentation to ensure clarity and alignment across all teams.
• Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and areas for enhancement. Recommend and implement strategic process improvements that drive productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
• Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with development, quality assurance (QA), and project management teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications. Provide continuous support during the development lifecycle to address any gaps or challenges.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support: Facilitate and support User Acceptance Testing activities to validate that delivered solutions meet predefined business objectives and stakeholder expectations. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and successful implementation.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. Effectively communicate project progress, risks, and changes to ensure transparency and alignment with business priorities.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Business Process Modeling: Proficiency in modeling business processes using industry-standard tools and methodologies to visualize workflows and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Strong ability to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements with precision and clarity.
• UML/BPMN Proficiency: Expertise in Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) to create detailed and accurate process diagrams and system specifications.
• Documentation Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to produce clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, and process flows.
• Gap Analysis: Capability to conduct thorough gap analyses to identify discrepancies between current and desired states, and propose actionable solutions to bridge these gaps.
• Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, including executives, end-users, and technical teams, to ensure collaboration and alignment.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visio for creating visual representations of processes and workflows. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools to support iterative development and delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in business analysis, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects in diverse industries.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic is mandatory, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Availability: Must be available for onsite work to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
