About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations within the manpower solutions and workforce outsourcing industry in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in financial leadership, regulatory compliance, and team management to drive financial performance while ensuring adherence to local and international accounting standards. This role demands a hands-on professional with a deep understanding of the Saudi regulatory landscape, including ZATCA regulations, VAT, Zakat, and corporate income tax, particularly for foreign-owned and mixed-ownership entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership and Strategy: Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and present accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards. Ensure full compliance with ZATCA regulations, including VAT and Zakat obligations, as well as corporate income tax requirements for foreign-owned and mixed-ownership companies.
• Budgeting and Financial Planning: Lead the budgeting process, including the preparation of annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for the overall business and individual units. Conduct rigorous cost accounting, cost control, and profitability analysis to identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.
• ERP and Financial Systems Management: Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of financial processes within the Odoo ERP system. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security while leveraging the system to generate meaningful financial insights and reports.
• Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations, human resources, and legal, to ensure seamless financial integration and support for business initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on financial matters impacting strategic decisions.
• Risk Management and Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust financial controls, reporting frameworks, and audit processes to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Identify and mitigate financial risks proactively.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present financial performance, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders, including executive leadership, investors, and regulatory bodies. Communicate complex financial information in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Experience: 5–7+ years of progressive finance experience, with a proven track record in the manpower solutions or workforce outsourcing industry in Saudi Arabia. Prior experience in overseas recruitment and workforce deployment is essential.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of ZATCA regulations, including VAT and Zakat compliance, as well as corporate income tax for foreign-owned and mixed-ownership companies. Proficiency in preparing complete financial statements under IFRS and local accounting standards.
• ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, with the ability to manage financial operations, reporting, and system integrations effectively.
• Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing finance teams. Experience in managing finance operations across multiple departments and business units.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills to drive financial performance and ensure compliance. Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Saudi regulatory and taxation environment, including ZATCA, VAT, Zakat, and corporate income tax requirements.
• Location and Availability: Currently based in Saudi Arabia and available to work full-time onsite.
