Process Reengineering & Improvement Sr. Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Reengineering & Improvement Sr. Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence by analyzing, redesigning, and optimizing business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with established standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering continuous improvement, aligning processes with strategic objectives, and supporting the organization’s growth through systematic innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Policy & Process Implementation: Execute approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures while providing clear instructions to subordinates and ensuring strict adherence to maintain controlled and compliant workflows.
• Daily Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Business Process Reengineering Section, ensuring alignment with established standards, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Process Analysis & Improvement: Conduct comprehensive process analyses from a quality perspective, evaluate compliance with policies and methodologies, and deliver data-driven recommendations to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Process Design & Development: Develop, design, and update business processes for assigned assessments or projects, ensuring they are optimized for performance, scalability, and integration with existing systems.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with relevant departments to facilitate the review and approval of process-related initiatives, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed process review reports, highlighting key findings, areas for improvement, and actionable recommendations. Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to validate process design and implementation effectiveness.
• Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions, assess the impact of changes on people, processes, and systems, and ensure effective communication and awareness initiatives are in place.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate discussions with Process Owners and stakeholders to develop process maps, integrate KPIs, controls, and SLAs, and support the implementation of recommended improvements.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities for ongoing enhancement of systems, processes, and practices by leveraging international best practices, cost reduction strategies, and productivity improvement frameworks.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of departmental reports in accordance with Riyad Bank’s policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental management protocols to foster a healthy and secure work environment.
• Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely with the Business Process Architect Sections to ensure processes are aligned with procedures and SLAs, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in Banking/Financial Institutions, with a focus on Operational Risk, Security, Compliance, or Audit.
• Language Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in English is required to effectively communicate with stakeholders and prepare detailed reports.
• Technical & Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Proficiency in process mapping tools, data analysis, and change management methodologies is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and drive consensus.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in Business Process Management (BPM), Lean Six Sigma, or Project Management (PMP) are a plus.
