Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis

Position Overview

Red Sea Global is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. This pivotal role is responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions to support strategic decision-making and drive sustainable growth across our organization. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Planning: Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with Red Sea Global’s long-term objectives. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure financial strategies support operational and business goals.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed financial analysis to evaluate performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including variance analysis, KPIs, and executive summaries, to stakeholders at all levels.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives while optimizing resource allocation. Enhance forecasting methodologies to improve accuracy and responsiveness to market dynamics.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departments such as Operations, Marketing, and Development to integrate financial insights into business planning. Facilitate data-driven discussions to support project feasibility and investment decisions.
• Risk Management and Compliance: Monitor financial risks, assess their impact on the organization, and recommend mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and best practices in financial governance.
• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and lead a high-performing team of financial analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the department.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, board members, and external partners. Present financial insights in a clear, concise manner to facilitate informed decision-making and stakeholder confidence.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA, CFA, or other advanced certification is highly desirable.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Prior experience in real estate, hospitality, or large-scale development projects is advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and advanced Excel skills. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data visualization is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to translate complex financial data into strategic insights and present findings to non-financial stakeholders. Strong leadership and project management capabilities are essential.
