Digital Enablement Lead

About the Role

As a Digital Enablement Lead at sirar by stc, you will play a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation of our clients by designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge enterprise-grade applications, APIs, and backend services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and business stakeholders, to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development & Modernization: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications, APIs, and backend services using .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, and Python. Lead modernization initiatives, including the adoption of microservices architecture, and refactor legacy applications to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Automation & Operational Efficiency: Build and implement automation solutions, system tools, and scripts to streamline operational processes, improve service delivery, and reduce manual intervention. Develop reporting capabilities through automation and process standardization to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Digital Platform Development: Develop, enhance, and maintain digital platforms such as employee portals, customer portals, websites, and internal business applications. Ensure these platforms are user-centric, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and business units throughout the development lifecycle. Translate business requirements into technical solutions, conduct quality assurance activities, and ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
• Security & Performance Optimization: Implement robust security measures, performance optimization techniques, monitoring, logging, and exception handling to ensure the reliability and resilience of applications. Conduct security testing and usability assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Continuous Improvement & Mentorship: Analyze user feedback, system performance, and operational data to drive continuous improvements. Mentor junior developers, participate in code reviews, and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Change Management & Support: Manage application enhancements, change requests, releases, and production support activities. Ensure smooth deployment and post-deployment support while adhering to Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Qualifications & Professional Certifications

To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Professional certifications in cloud computing, DevOps, and software development are highly desirable and will strengthen your candidacy. Preferred certifications include:

Skills & Competencies

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

• Proficient in .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C# development, with a strong understanding of ASP.NET MVC and web application development.
• Experience in Python development and automation to enhance operational efficiency and system integrations.
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system integrations using SQL databases and Entity Framework.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and the ability to integrate frontend components with backend services.
• Strong command of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Docker, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Experience in API testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Proven ability to analyze business requirements, manage stakeholders, and drive digital enablement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, technical leadership, and a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, the SDLC, and best practices in software development and security.
