We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Stock Coordinator to join our dynamic retail team. Key Responsibilities

The Stock Coordinator will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our inventory system. Your core duties will include:

• Merchandise Receipt and Verification: Physically and electronically receive incoming merchandise, conducting accurate counts to ensure alignment with purchase orders and invoices. This includes verifying quantities, models, and specifications to prevent discrepancies.
• Quality Inspection and Reporting: Perform thorough inspections of all received products to identify any defects, damages, or discrepancies. Promptly report any issues to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, ensuring corrective actions are taken to mitigate losses and maintain product quality standards.
• Inventory Storage and Organization: Classify and store merchandise in designated areas of the stockroom, adhering to store procedures to optimize accessibility and minimize handling time. Properly tag new stock or process returns in accordance with senior management instructions to streamline inventory tracking.
• Sales Floor Support: Collaborate with sales associates to replenish stock on shelves and displays, ensuring products are readily available for customers. Monitor shelf conditions and report any missing price tags or misplaced items to maintain a polished and customer-friendly shopping environment.
• Security and Housekeeping: Uphold rigorous security protocols to prevent theft, loss, or unauthorized access to inventory. Maintain impeccable housekeeping standards in the stockroom, including cleanliness, proper labeling, and organized storage to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Inventory Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, including inward and outward transactions. Generate and update reports as required, and assist during scheduled stock takes to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving merchandise weighing up to 10 kilograms. Flexibility to work extended hours during peak sales periods, such as festivals or promotional events, is essential to meet operational demands.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Experience: Prior experience in a stock, warehouse, or logistics role within a retail environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking tools is a valuable asset.
