Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architect to join our team in the Riyadh Region. This full-time, on-site role will focus on designing and developing cleanroom and controlled environment facilities that adhere to the highest standards of biosafety, infection control, and accreditation compliance. The Architect will be responsible for creating architectural plans and technical drawings, collaborating with engineering and safety teams, and overseeing the implementation of designs throughout project lifecycles. This position requires a deep understanding of specialized systems integration, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders to deliver compliant and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Develop architectural plans and technical drawings for cleanroom and controlled environment facilities, ensuring alignment with biosafety, infection control, and accreditation standards.
- System Integration: Collaborate with Integration and Software Development teams to incorporate specialized systems and digital solutions into facility designs, enhancing functionality and compliance.
- Project Coordination: Oversee the implementation of architectural designs, coordinating with engineering and safety teams to ensure seamless execution and adherence to project timelines.
- Client Requirements Analysis: Evaluate and interpret client needs, translating them into practical and compliant facility layouts and designs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with partners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality, compliance, and successful project delivery.
- Project Management: Support project management activities, including planning, documentation, timeline management, and coordination with all relevant stakeholders.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs meet international and local standards for biosafety, infection control, and accreditation, as required by regulatory bodies such as SFDA, CBAHI, WHO, CAP, and CDC.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or a closely related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong foundation in architectural design for cleanrooms, laboratories, and controlled environments, with proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Project Management: Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, coordination, and delivery of complex technical projects.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with biosafety, infection control, and relevant international and local standards is highly advantageous.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and engage with external partners.
- Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and commitment to delivering high-quality, safe, and compliant design solutions.
