Key Responsibilities

As a Receptionist, your daily responsibilities will center on providing outstanding guest service while maintaining operational efficiency. Your role will include:

• Guest Engagement and Service: Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously to ensure a positive experience. Handle check-ins and check-outs with precision, ensuring all audit procedures are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Communication and Collaboration: Keep the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors informed of guest feedback, concerns, or suggestions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Assist in the training and development of the Night Team to uphold service standards across all shifts.
• Product Knowledge and Upselling: Demonstrate a deep understanding of hotel room categories, rates, packages, and promotions to effectively recommend services and facilities that enhance the guest experience. Utilize upselling techniques to maximize room occupancy and revenue while aligning with brand standards.
• Financial and Operational Compliance: Process payments, including foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash, in strict accordance with the hotel’s credit policy. Adhere to security protocols, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
• Technical Proficiency: Operate front-of-house equipment and property management systems with accuracy, ensuring seamless workflow and data integrity. Collaborate with other departments as needed to support cross-functional initiatives and deliver a cohesive guest experience.
