Key Responsibilities

• Proposal Development: Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, ensuring all technical and commercial documents are accurate, competitive, and compliant with customer requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, technical, procurement, finance, and other teams to gather necessary inputs, align on project requirements, and develop cost-effective proposals.
• Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and maintain proposal documentation using Microsoft Excel and Word; proficiency in PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project is highly desirable. Ensure all proposals adhere to customer guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Bid Process Management: Manage the entire bidding lifecycle, from responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), RFQs (Requests for Quotation), and RFPs (Requests for Proposal) to final submission. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate responses.
• Technical Interpretation: Analyze customer RFP requirements, liaise with technical teams to clarify specifications, and translate them into compelling proposal narratives that highlight our solutions’ value proposition.
• Cost Estimation and Analysis: Support the costing team in developing accurate cost estimates, leveraging your understanding of enterprise IT solutions and market dynamics to ensure competitive pricing.
• Communication and Coordination: Act as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, and customers, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the proposal process. Present proposals to stakeholders when required.
• Saudi Market Expertise: Leverage your experience in the Saudi IT market to tailor proposals that align with local regulations, customer expectations, and industry best practices. Familiarity with the Etimad platform and government tenders is a significant advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in proposal engineering, bidding, tendering, costing, or sales support within an IT company, systems integrator, or technology solutions provider.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of enterprise IT solutions, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and networking. Ability to interpret technical requirements and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Proposal Expertise: In-depth understanding of the end-to-end bidding process, including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, technical and commercial proposals, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and costing methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify risks and opportunities in proposals.
• Technical Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential; experience with PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project is highly preferred.
• Local Market Knowledge: Prior experience with Saudi government tenders and familiarity with the Etimad platform will be a significant advantage.
